A pioneer in the field of art law, Barbara T. Hoffman has passionately counseled, mentored and defended the interests and vision of her clients globally. The Firm’s work in sustainable cultural heritage law has lead to involvement to prevent the illicit trafficking of antiquities and wildlife, work with the Antiquities coalition and representation of ICOMOS at preparatory work for the G20 culture ministers conference in 2023. Born to explore, Hoffman has followed her passion to become a leading attorney in expedition law. Barbara T. Hoffman holds a BA in Art History and French Literature from Brown University cum laude, an MA with honors from London School of Economics, a master with honors from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and her JD from Columbia University School of Law with recognition as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
